Motor House is a creative crossroads rooted in the culture of Baltimore. We’re a non-profit arts h From 2005 until 2012 the building at 120 W. North Avenue, known as the "Load of Fun" had been owned and operated by an artist-entrepreneur who leased performance and studio spaces to individual artists and small arts organizations.
In the summer of 2012 the owner was forced to evict the tenants and close the building when he was financially unable to bring the building up to code after an inspection by the city's fire marshals. Read more
